Wonderful news is that since I have returned to regular practice of yoga & frequent time on my mat, the usually dominant chronic pain experience has dissapated significantly. A sudden shock of my position being terminated due to a downsizing effort has also brought a significant change in the day to day demands upon my physical being, which has served me in a positive way. The tough work before me now is securing a different employ, means to survive, that doesn't land me back in harms way in terms of pain. As far as movement goals, I would really like to be able to incorporate daily practice on my own & explore more about what it means to practice in response to the here & now experience in my own body. I am excited to get to explore the practice library & have faith that I will continue to gain strength & confidence to build upon the humble foundation I have discovered within myself over the past few months. A bit of mindful meditation, self acceptance & restoration of physical capability & strength has propelled me in the direction I wish to go & I am eager to find out everything I am able . Eventually I'd like to serve the community & share what I have learned, & am learning. The biggest barrier now, is available time, coupled with self-discipline & the know how to manage to fit in all of the steps & pieces necessary for securing gainful employment while simultaneously commiting to more time & exploration as a new yogi.
