Yin for Strength?

So… unfortunately, none of the movements in Yin actually achieve the conditions that are required to build strength. BUT! Yin can be an amazing complement to strength training. Active restoration and rest are as essential to building muscle, endurance and stamina as weight training and cardio.

Natural Energy

We usually think of Yin as calming, soothing and down regulating. But with a few tweaks, we can cultivate a calm, natural energy as well. Not the jittery wired feeling you get from caffeine but a gentle boost, without the crash. 

Push Up Resolution

This class is a celebration of taking it step by step and enjoying the journey. With no full pushups in sight, you will build strength and stamina in your shoulders, chest and back using eccentric work and a boatload of plyometrics. it’s an absolute blast and a great way to start 2021. This is a live class so you will hear some good natured interaction among the participants. – Mandy
