This is a sublime practice that is equal parts restorative Yin and meditation. We will take some absolutely delicious poses as we meditate on, of all things, the hand. Your nervous system dedicates a great deal of resources to your hand. By relaxing the hand, you can relax and self regulate your brain, your mind, your body. You won’t believe how fast this hour goes by, and how incredible you feel after.
Relieve Joint Stiffness and Pain in the Morning
There are so many reasons that pain may be worse in the morning, and we can’t cover them all here, but we will address one reason here. I envision you doing this practice in your bed! Just roll over and hit play.
Pelvic Floor Breathing in Childs Pose
Working with this breath technique in childs pose adds another layer of difficulty. So it’s a nice practice to progress to for continued improvement of hip, groin, low back and SIJ issues.
